Indy Eleven Partnering with The Villages for “Musical Chairs 4 Kids” Fundraiser

State’s Largest Game of Musical Chairs during October 17 Game Day to Benefit Indiana’s Largest Foster Care, Adoption & Family Services Agency

INDIANAPOLIS (Tuesday, August 11, 2015) – Indy Eleven Professional Soccer and The Villages invite fans to recapture the joy of their childhood and support Indiana’s most vulnerable children in the process on Saturday, October 17, when the organizations will play host to the first annual “Musical Chairs 4 Kids” event at Carroll Stadium.

This fundraiser will aim to bring together 500 fans for the largest adult game of musical chairs ever to take place in Indianapolis, with heats to be held at “The Mike” prior to Indy Eleven’s match against Minnesota United FC.

“The Villages does incredible work on behalf of the children in our state that need the most help. We hope our fans will take advantage of an incredibly fun way to assist this most worthy of causes,” said Indy Eleven President and General Manager Peter Wilt.

Proceeds raised will benefit The Villages, Indiana’s largest not-for-profit child and family services agency which believes that every child grows, learns, develops and flourishes best within a family. Over 11,000 vulnerable children and families across the state are impacted by The Villages’ wide array of programs and services each year. The Villages champions every child’s right to a safe, permanent and nurturing home and is committed to strengthening all families and embracing the dignity and diversity of every child, youth and family served.

To participate in the “Musical Chairs 4 Kids” event, fans 21-and-over can purchase special $25 ticket packages to the October 17 match at “The Mike,” which will include a game ticket, participation in the musical chairs event, a donation to The Villages, a special event t-shirt and swag bag with coupons and giveaways from promotional partners. Fans that already have a ticket to the match can join in the fun by purchasing a “Musical Chairs 4 Kids” package for $20.

Please note that fans looking to participate in the “Musical Chairs 4 Kids” fundraiser will need to have a game ticket to that night’s match at Carroll Stadium. Participants can visit IndyEleven.com to purchase a $25 ticket-and-fundraiser package or the separate $20 fundraiser-only package if you already have a seat for the game.

In addition to the 11 winners that will be determined during the pre-game rounds, Indy Eleven will also host preliminary heats at 11 additional events in the community leading up to October 17, a schedule of which will be released on IndyEleven.com in the coming days.

The 22 winners will be combined for the grand Musical Chairs final on the Carroll Stadium field at halftime against Minnesota, with the victor receiving a grand prize package valued at over $1,100 – including a leather recliner to commemorate their musical chairs victory!
