Family Preservation Services

Family Preservation Services is an all-inclusive array of home-based supports designed for families who need intensive assistance to improve caregiving, strengthen coping skills, and build resilience. The goal is to promote healthy, nurturing relationships and enhance the emotional and mental well-being of children—allowing them to safely remain in the home with their caregivers.

This service is available to families involved with the Department of Social Services due to substantiated incidents of abuse or neglect. A Villages case manager works closely with each family to create a treatment plan that addresses safety concerns and supports long-term stability.

Home-based casework, home-based therapy, and parent education are core components of the program.

Services include:

  • Case management and therapy for the entire family
  • Concrete supports
  • Parenting curriculum and education
  • Language interpretation services
  • Access to The Village Shoppe (clothing, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and household items)
