Meet Kim, Human Resources Manager at The Villages, Celebrating 35 Years of Service
Kim is celebrating her 35th anniversary as an employee and part of The Villages family! As Human Resources Manager, Kim strives to maintain the highest quality of service for our employees, so they can focus on serving The Villages children and families. “I have had an opportunity to work with a wonderful group of individuals who, as a team, make The Villages one of the top child and family services agencies in the state,” said Kim. “I owe a special ‘thank you’ to Pam Jones, former Vice President of Operations. She coached and mentored me to be the very best employee I can be. She will forever be my angel.”
Kim takes the mission of The Villages to heart by serving as a foster parent. “How wonderful to know I can make such a positive difference to a young child who can accomplish anything they set their mind to with just a little love, faith and encouragement,” says Kim.
She adds that her 35 years at The Villages have been a wonderful experience and credits the staff for making each day at work rewarding. “There is no one in this world that could love their job – and the people – more than I do,” she says.
Kim is a member of the National Society of Human Resource Management and the local Human Resource Chapter (SCIHRA). She is a mother to son, Cory, and grandmother to 11-year-old Madisyn. She enjoys spending time with her spoiled toy poodle, Sugar.
