Whether you’re a current Villages client or a member of the general public with Medicaid insurance, our licensed professionals are here to provide convenient, confidential, and compassionate support through secure online sessions. No referral is required, and services are billed directly to Medicaid. Simply complete our consent forms and connect with a caring professional who will tailor treatment to your needs.

Meet Our Team
Julie Villarreal brings over 30 years of experience in social work, with a deep commitment to improving access to quality mental health care. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2005, Julie currently serves as Senior Regional Director, overseeing operations in Merrillville, Kokomo, and Lafayette.
As the Clinical Director of the Telehealth Program, Julie has led innovative initiatives to expand virtual care, ensuring clients receive timely and effective support. Her extensive clinical training includes Adoption Competency, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Based Relational Interventions, TF-CBT, CBT, and she is CSAYC certified.
Julie’s career spans diverse roles in social work, from direct clinical practice to leadership positions, always driven by a passion for empowering individuals and families. Her expertise and dedication continue to shape programs that prioritize accessibility, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based interventions.
I am the Clinical Director of the Villages of Indiana of Howard County, Lake County and surrounding areas. I am a graduate of IUPUI with a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2012, a master’s degree from IUPUI in Social Work in 2017 and a master’s degree in public management from IU Kokomo in 2020. I completed my licensing requirements to become a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in November 2023.
I have worked in mental health services since 2012 and have been doing therapy for the last 8 years. I have a passion for listening to others stories, meeting them where they are at and developing trust with others in an open honest environment. My goal is your goal, while assisting with improving your quality of life and guiding yourself toward where you want to be.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LSCW), holding a Master’s Degree from the University of Southern Indiana. My professional journey of over 25 years has provided opportunities to support individuals, ages 6 through adulthood, through a wide range of issues and concerns such as anxiety, addictions, relationship conflict, and trauma recovery.
My approach to therapy is diverse and tailored specifically to your needs and goals. I apply evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma- Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to support personal growth, build resiliency, and foster lasting empowerment.
